dontapplyai works alongside your video call. You keep using Zoom, Teams or Meet, and dontapplyai shows your questions in a way that makes AI help much harder to use.
The question and the decoy
When you share a question, dontapplyai draws it so that people can read it easily and AI tools have a much harder time. A decoy question is shown beside it, and a tool that reads the screen is likely to answer the decoy instead. The candidate knows which question to answer, but an AI assistant often doesn't, so its answer won't fit the real question.
The candidate link
You can also send the candidate a link, so the question opens in their own browser instead of on your shared screen. The page is protected from screenshots and screen recordings. Before the interview it checks the candidate's browser and tells you about AI assistant extensions it recognizes, a second screen, and connections through a VPN, a proxy or Tor.
The control window
During the interview, the control window shows the real question, the decoy and your notes. It also shows when the candidate switches away from the page, copies from it or pastes into a code answer. You can mark each question as a decoy answer, a long pause or an answer that didn't fit.
What dontapplyai doesn't do
dontapplyai doesn't record the call, doesn't use the candidate's camera or microphone and doesn't make decisions about candidates. It shows you what is happening, and you decide what it means.
